It is hot here in Missouri- mid 90s with possibility to reach 100 this weekend. Perfect grilling weather. Kidding. Ok, let’s take a look at some simple, festive food and recipes.
Independence Day Chips & Salsa
It’s not that chips and salsa are anything special but this is such an easy way to bring red-white and blue to the table. So clever!
Turkey Burger Sliders with Chipotle Ketchup
love these little burgers! Perfect size if you’re having a lot of other food.
Pepper-Jack Grilled Chicken
This chicken makes my mouth water- stuffed with arugula…yum! A nice accompaniment to heavier meats like sausage, ribs, hot dogs.
Revolutionary Berries
Aren’t these great? I am totally making these with the kids for a a simple dessert.

Aren’t they perfect?! I love festive things that are so simple. Now I don’t have to do an elaborate dessert because I can just lick the bowl of melted white chocolate! 🙂
