Most of my friends know the news by now, but I know not all of my followers do. I won’t keep you in suspense a moment longer, Nutritious Eats is moving to Missouri and leaving the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. We have been here 1 1/2 years and have really fallen for the place. Who wouldn’t, right?
So while my parents are in town and watching the kids, I decided to escape for a sunrise photo shoot. Location: Lanikai beach.
It will be hard to leave, but we look forward to our new adventure in Missouri! Please be patient as I attend to the many things I have going on before our big move in about 6 weeks.
I am going to hang on to my pots/pans and dishes for as long as possible so I can continue blogging throughout the packing/moving phase. Like I mentioned my parents are visiting at the moment so I put the blog on hold for a few days and have been doing more sightseeing than usual. Hope you understand! I will be back with some recipes and/or nutrition posts asap!
Mahalo (thank you)!

Thanks Estela! You are in the same boat! When is your move?

Savour every moment on that gorgeous island. Don’t worry about us, we’ll all still be here when you have time to post.
You and your recipes are worth the wait!

We moved from Kailua 2 years ago (to Arkansas). We’re still trying to recover from that one 🙂 I hope everything goes smoothly for your move!

Thanks Carrie. Kailua is the best isn’t it? They are building a Whole Foods and Target right next to our condo….which means time to leave or I’d be broke! This is by far the best place to live on the island though. 😉

Hi Melanie,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I came over to check it out and love what you have going on here. The recipes look great and I am going to definitely try some.
Now that you know you are leaving, is it all looking different to you? That happened to me one time before a big move. Suddenly, everything I took for granted looked amazingly beautiful.
But change is good.

Thanks Kim! Yes, I am savoring every moment. I can’t stop posting Hawaii pictures to my personal family blog because now I feel like I should document each day. Thanks for visiting!

We used to live at Poinciana Manor-must be close to where you live! I think Amy said she had a friend over there, so maybe it was you?! I can’t believe I missed out on having Target and WF within walking distance! Anyway, enjoy!
